Meet Laura
Hi I’m Laura and I am the proud owner of Alura Nail & Beauty.
I got the keys for the salon in January 2016, it was the old Kirkwood hospice charity shop, it totally needed renovating so we did this over three months and opened the doors on April 19th 2016!!
The salon has gone from strength to strength even through the pandemic and i am so grateful for every loyal client we have, it is all thanks to you that we are where we are!!
I have 17 years experience in the beauty industry. I specialise in Semi Permanent Make Up including Microblading and Ombré, and all things brows, we also offer HD Brows and the new amazing Brow Sculpt lamination treatment. I LOVE doing facials too, we offer a wide range of Thalgo Facials at the salon.
I want to welcome every new client through our doors, our salon is a place to relax and feel at ease in a comfortable environment, we look forward to seeing you all very soon x
Meet Steph
Steph has been with Alura from the very beginning and is very passionate about her role at Alura, with her bubbly personality all the clients know and love Steph.
Steph has over 14 years experience in the beauty industry qualifying at White Rose Beauty School. She is our Dermaplaning specialist and also specialises in HD Brows and LVL Lashes.
Steph loves meeting new clients so can’t wait to see you all soon x
Meet Lucy
Lucy has been with Alura four years now and brings a lot to our team!! She is enthusiastic and friendly, loves talking to her clients and just loves her job!!
Lucy has over four years experience in the industry and has a passion for beauty. She specialises in Thalgo Facials, massage and LVL Lashes.

Meet Sam
Sam has been with Alura for three years now, she is a wonderful asset to our team and loves seeing and treating her clients.
She has over 7 years experience in the industry and is our Holistic Wellbeing Practitioner. She offers Reiki, Meditation and Hypnotherapy as well as specialising in Massage and loves a bit of Nail Art!
